The site is operated as an independent senior care data publisher. Our goal is to make public facility information easier to search, compare, and understand before a family contacts a provider or visits in person.
Every listing is sourced from publicly available government datasets - primarily CMS Care Compare and individual state health licensing authorities. Our nightly data pipeline keeps ratings, staffing figures, and inspection histories current so families always have access to the most recent information available from regulators.
We built NationalSeniorDirectory because finding reliable, unbiased senior care information is genuinely hard. Paid placement and lead-generation incentives distort many directories. Here, rankings reflect CMS data - not advertising budgets. We do not charge facilities to appear, and listings are not influenced by commercial relationships.
We also maintain editorial guides that explain common senior care decisions, including CMS star ratings, inspection history, Medicaid and Medicare coverage, assisted living costs, hospice, home health, and memory care. Those guides are written to help readers interpret the underlying public data, not replace professional advice.
